He grew up with Juan Luis Guerra on the radio, merengue shaking the walls, and the unmistakable sound of a requinto guitar drifting through every colmado in town.
At seven years old, he left everything he knew and immigrated to the United States. New language. New rules. But the rhythm came with him — embedded in the DNA, waiting for the right moment to surface.
That moment came years later on a dance floor. But first, he had a war to fight.

Immigration to the United States

United States Marine Corps — 4 Years Active Duty
